The following WP5 key issues were identified in the discussions with the stakeholders: the possibilities to get more detail acquaintance of the SWAT model; study on land erosion; evaluation of the hot spots map. The main problems for the further project work in WP 5 were summarised: 1) lack of suitable, detailed and reliable data about nutrient load in Lithuania; 2) lack of finance to obtain measurement equipments for nutrient load estimation; 3) insufficient practical experience and qualified labour input in environmental field. It was noticed that collaboration between Ministries of Agriculture and Environment in Lithuania has improved compared to previous periods, so in the future all the actions concerning the policy measures are planned to be better harmonized. Some suggestions for future policy programming period were discussed. It was pointed out that rural communities should be more involved into the management process concerning the agro-environmental issues. This could improve the lack of motivation to implement agro-environmental measures that farmers have.
Maria Osbeck (Stockholm Environmental Institute) presented Work Package 6 Regional Synthesis on agro environmental measures. The Regional Synthesis between Baltic Sea countries summarizes the differences of agro environmental measures concerning requirements, compensation level and monitoring of the measures.

The key challenges of the implementation of the agro-environmental
measures in Lithuania were presented by Zymantas Morkvenas (Baltic
Environment Forum Lithuania). He believes that the effectiveness of the
measures management and monitoring system should be improved. The
introduction of new measures concerning the purchase of new specific
agro-environmental equipment could lead to improvement of the control
system.
